Multiple positions in Moschou Lab (expired)

We are looking for enthusiastic Postdocs, PhDs, and technicians for fully-funded multi-year positions in IMBB/UoC institute in Crete (Moschou Lab). Experience with genetics, confocal microscopy, protein purification, and interaction studies would be an advantage.

Work in Moschou’s group (https://pmoschoulab.blog/home/) focuses on the roles of homeostasis of proteins and RNA in the development and perception of the environment. We are particularly interested in how catabolism and processing of molecules such as proteins and RNA dictate the basic biological processes of stem cell fate regulation, asymmetric cell division, cell polarity, and regeneration.

Projects:

1-Crop genetics and CRISPR/Cas9 (2 vacancies)

2-Plasma membrane complexes and signaling (2 vacancies)
